Le Port Autonome de Nouakchott organise une campagne médicale de dépistage et de vaccination contre l’hépatite B

Le Port Autonome de Nouakchott (Port de l’Amitié) a organisé, ce matin, une campagne médicale de sensibilisation pour le dépistage de l’hépatite B et la vaccination contre ce virus, en partenariat avec l’Institut National des Maladies du Foie et des Virus, l’Office National de Médecine du Travail et la Fondation du Port de l’Amitié. Cette initiative a ciblé les travailleurs du port ainsi que les dockers de la société SOGETRAP.
La campagne a été supervisée par le Directeur Général du Port Autonome de Nouakchott, M. Sidi Mohamed MAHAM, et a permis d’offrir gratuitement des examens médicaux et des vaccins à des dizaines d’employés, dans un cadre organisationnel exemplaire et avec la pleine coopération de toutes les parties concernées.
Cette initiative s’inscrit dans le cadre de la stratégie du port visant à renforcer la santé préventive en milieu professionnel et à réduire les risques liés aux maladies chroniques, notamment les hépatites virales, qui représentent un défi sanitaire majeur pour les travailleurs.
Les responsables de la campagne ont souligné l’importance de la continuité de ce type d’activités de sensibilisation et de prévention, tout en saluant le soutien déterminant apporté par la Direction du port pour assurer le succès de cette action au service de la santé et de la sécurité des travailleurs.

In a ceremony filled with symbolism, Mr. Sidi Mohamed Maham, on behalf of the Port of Friendship of Nouakchott, Mr. Abdelatif Lhouaoui representing the Agence Nationale des Ports of Morocco, and Mr. Eduard Rodés, Director of the Escola Europea - Intermodal Transport, have joined forces through a tripartite agreement. The project, known as "Mare Nostrum Atlantique", highlights the importance of quality education, the creation of decent jobs, and the promotion of sustainable economic development. Professional training in logistics and international trade will be prioritized, and the active exchange of knowledge and best practices among port communities will be vigorously promoted.
The signing of this agreement has been further strengthened by the presence and participation of Mr. Jordi Torrent, Secretary-General of the MEDports Association. His intervention served to underscore the significance of three members of the association committing to a collaborative protocol, undoubtedly setting a precedent for joint commitment to excellence and innovation in the provision of port and logistics services.
This agreement represents a significant advancement towards more robust and effective collaboration between the parties, with the common goal of driving economic development and environmental sustainability in their respective regions.
