The quantity of commodities that passed through it increased from 2.3 million tons in 1988 to 4.3 million tons in 2017.
Because the port, thanks to its vitality and its attractive tariff, was able, within ten years, to double the annual movement of goods.
In parallel with the increase in the volume of exchanges, the number of containers almost tripled, from 57,483 units in 1988 to 141,010 units in 2017.
